Featuring an organic twin-handled silhouette and a beautifully flowing matte brown glaze, the vase is part of the renowned Carstens Atelier production. Its expressive form and handcrafted finish reflect the experimental spirit of German studio ceramics from the mid-century period.

The design is commonly attributed to Gerda Heuckeroth, who led the artistic direction of the Carstens Atelier line, although this attribution cannot be confirmed with certainty for this particular model.
